Witnessing another glory of year
A year passed by,
Looking back with an optimistic eyes,
Lying ahead is an imaginary world

Year passed marked with big changes,
Race continued with a boring
Cubical life,
Hammered a lot to give shape
Many times got beaten,

Confidence doomed,
Everything was stagnant,
Race looked too long,
I seem to be lost

Coin flipped,
Time turned out on my side,
A new journey started,
With different platform

I landed on different world,
Keeping sweet and sour memories,
Of my past, I moved on,
Yes, Life goes on

Formless Uniformity

Words are the key to imagination,
Put this undefined eternality of world,
A hold, a breath or a touch

Mysteries spoke to themselves,
Carved till the end of this lineage,
But it is perennial

Trying to extract the sense
Of this muddled barn,
A hand on it can not shake it
But it will be touched

Practicality does not sound a good reason,
Into the ocean of love and relationship,
Diving into it
Let us up leap to this sojourn

Beginning ending is mere a coincidence,
Story comes out good with affix and suffix,
I am on hold between this
Without a bridge

Distant is the galaxy of words,
Abstract looks more familiar,
A dip in it
Let you travel through it

Quest of knowing it,
Is not coming to an end
Putting yourself into it,
Is the only thing make sense

But here I am
Out of nowhere, uttering a phenomenon
In an abstract string of words
Trying to compose
But I am afraid, I am not

Enigmatic Life

Vibes me up and down
Let me blow it down,
But it will last,
Last your last breath

Beginning and ending is not of concern,
Ending is the start of a new game,
I am not, not again

Sticks to your breath,
Glued to your thoughts,
Paved to your move,
It will, Always be

I am not the only one,
It goes by and says Hi,
Part of me says Hi and part Good bye

Sunshine can betray you,
Fades of, see you tomorrow,
I am here, will be here,
To catch it, feel it and suffer it

Neither have courage to love it,
Nor to hate it,
Enigma will last
Last your last breath

Day after Yesterday

Remembering the time when I was hooked up in the past, confused in the present and uncertain of the future. Today should not be shadowed by yesterday. This is all I wanna say.

Looking into the mirror,
reflection of today seems clear,
and sites of yesterday looks dearer

It was a day of another survival,
faith on life become more visible,
and today have to penned again

life after life have no meaning,
life of yesterday engraved everyday,
and living to the life makes the day

Holding the past living the present
dawn set to meet gloaming this way,
and it dweleve you in whirl of today,

Soul can voyage far away,
dont let self sail this way,
blosoom your day, flicker the night
and realise, It is the day after yesterday.

Capot de frère

Here it comes, my first ever written poem. The title “Capot de frère” is a french word which means Brotherhood. I have been surrounded by few of the good Poet from last few years but I never inspired to write a poem before but this time it just came from heart. This poem was a Rakhi gift to my dearest sister cum great friend. Well I hope, I have made a good start :)

A definition needs to lay on ,
A new symphony wish to band on,
A relationship to be cherish on,
A gift not everyone can enjoy on,
Since Capot de frère needs to scout on

A friend to always rely on,
A frere to always hook on,
A fellow to always bubble on,
A booster to alwyas stream on,
Since Capot de frère always move on

A love and care whose origin does not mean,
A laugh and joy whose boundary is not seen,
A sorrow and rue whose end is lean,
A suffer and pain whose remnant in vein,
Since capot de frère says it all for me

Money in Winds

I have been reading few articles about the steep rise of wind energy projects in India. India didn’t have much windmills few years back, but few Government led initiatives and an entrepreneur “Tulsi Tanti” have put India among few countries in the world which have significant contribution of renewable energy. This person has glamorised the wind energy business and made wind energy into an attractive investment for common people.

Today’s article in TOI is about the people who are making money by owning/buying a windmill. Now what’s this new investment fuss is all about. As the stock market volatility gives higher risks, Bonds are low on returns, Real estate fell into trap of higher interest rates and futures & options are too complicated to deal with, Here comes a new way of investment with very little mathematics and knowledge. But I should tell you before hand that this is not for retail investors, Investments in this amounts at-least a crore.

Windmill has attracted whopping some of money from various Institutional Investors, Banks and from industrialists as well. There are two primary reason which entice people to put their money bags into it. One is return on investment is Tax free because it is an renewable energy resource and Govt wants to promote it, Second this is a low risk and high return investment. How this investment is low risk and higher on returns. So this is how calculation goes so far.

With independent wind energy producers selling electricity at between Rs 3 and Rs 3.25 a unit to state electricity boards, a 2 mw plant which requires a capital cost of 10 crore running at an average of a 30 per cent load factor can generate Rs 1.7 crore a year in revenue. Subtracting costs (Depreciation costs, maintenance costs, Insurance cost) the potential profit for such a windmill can be upwards of Rs 1.4 crore a year. In windier areas, where windmills run at far higher loads, the profits can be much higher over Rs 2-2.5 crore a year and that does not include the tax breaks. So returns on your investments will be around 20%. There is a government clause which binds SEB’s to buy 10% of its electricity from renewable sources (If its available), So far wind energy accounts for only 1.6% of total electricity consumed in India hence it makes investment more safe. So a vigilant investor will not wait much for this opportunity which comes right at the door and knocking from long.

Religion at its cost !!

Well past few months have not been good so far for the future of this world. Extinction of Taliban seems implausible in Afghanistan, Terrorist activities are spreading all across India, War like situation now brewing up between Israel and Lebanon, Iran is adamant and refuse to negotiate and compromise its nuclear operations at any cost……
In between I got stuck up in a heated discussions between few of my colleagues about the instability of Today’s world and why there is so much feud. The thing which pinned me during the discussion was the opinion of one of my friend is that almost every feud or war or terrorist activity has one root cause and this cause is related to RELIGION. This is the thing which separate us apart and cause of hatred in the world. So he conclusively blamed religion for all these activities.
After few days I was having a chat with one of my friend and again this things came up and she said the same thing. I was stunned by the views people are having now. They all are the well educated young generation of India, Who believes the root cause of all disturbances around the world is Religion.

All this series of conversations made me to think about it and I asked myself these questions Why do we need religion ? When it is originated and what was its purpose ?, And what is the common definition of a religion ? What will be the world without religion ? Why there is so much terror in the name of religion ?

Who are we? Why do we exist? Who created us? Gospel of each religion gives the answer to these question by defining a divine GOD. God exist, He/She is divine, immortal, has answer to all these questions in a very simple manner and each religion discuss these basic questions. This is one main reason which I could thought of. Each person has individual existence and he will have his own thoughts and beliefs which may lead to disputes in a bunch of people. So religion exists to maintain harmony between humans by keeping some common beliefs. This is how normal understanding goes if we look around the world.
But in the reality there are multiple religions,Now there are different group of people with different beliefs living in same world. What about the coordination between religions, Does each religion teach us to live in harmony even if people have different beliefs? Well I consider myself too illiterate to answer all questions but I am quite sure about one thing, no religion expect its followers to indulge themselves into fight in the name of it. Only thing what I felt is that to satisfies the Ego of few leaders, To justifies their unhuman acts, To show their power to the world, They backed each of their act by religion. So Religion have become the victim of his own people. I recalls few lines from Rabindranath Tagore

Shantaram

I have been reading a book called “Shantaram”. Its an autobiography of a criminal and drug mafia who escapes from a prison in Australia and comes to India. He falls in love with India right from the start . He pens the life he spent in India and the people he met here . He finally captured by Inter-pole in Germany in 1990 and sent back to Australia. He has wrote this book 4 times during sentence as each time it was destroyed by jail officials . After his term , He started a multimedia company and now he is a full time writer. What made me to write about this books here is the way this person has rejuvenate his life and the way he sees the world. The time stamp he had left of his past is indelible but he has successfully overwritten it with his efforts.
There are few excerpts from the book which I would never want to forget, Although you will get the context of each statement only after going through book, but these sounds like quotes to me which everyone can understand or feel. I will continue to add as I progress through book.
